Australian Small Business Champion Awards
Finalist
Andatech was recognised as a finalist in the 2024 Australian Small Business Champion Awards, a prestigious program dedicated to celebrating and supporting small businesses throughout Australia.
Irwandy Tan, the director of Andatech, expressed his gratitude, saying, “We are truly honoured to be recognised as a finalist in the Small Business Champion Awards again this year. Being selected is a rewarding affirmation that our efforts are on the right track.”
2023
National Disability Scheme Partner
Registered NDIS partner
Since November 2023, Andatech has been a registered NDIS provider, allowing participants of the national funding scheme to purchase ventilation products under the Ionmax brand while enjoying NDIS benefits.
The NDIS, or National Disability Scheme, is an initiative funded by the Australian government that was designed to support individuals with disabilities, providing them with funding and assistance tailored to their specific needs.
Ionmax offers ventilation products in the form of air purifiers, dehumidifiers, humidifiers, heaters and even replacement filters to help better the lives of Australians from all walks of life as we understand the importance of good indoor air quality and the positive effects they can bring.

Whitehorse Business Awards - Innovation
Winner of the Innovation Award (Medium Business)
Andatech was recently awarded the Whitehorse Excellence in Business Awards for Innovation, in the medium-sized business category.
The honour marked a significant milestone for Andatech as the company won in the medium-sized business category after previously taking home honours in the Small Business Awards.
The company received this award in recognition of the Prodigy 3 handheld workplace breathalyser, and the Caltrace and Andalink system that benefits Andatech’s customers and administrators by efficiently collecting, storing and retrieving breath alcohol data.

Australian Business Awards
Winner in the Product Innovation category
The Andatech Prodigy 3 workplace breathalyser, Andatech’s latest breathalysers, was honoured with the coveted Australian Business Awards (ABA100) under the Product Innovation Awards (Business Products) category.
ABA100 is an annual all-encompassing awards programme that recognises organisations that demonstrate business innovation, product innovation, technological achievements and more through holistic and established business and product award categories.
The Product Innovation Award (Business Products) highlights products and services that provide innovative solutions for business and market needs.
The accolade is a testament to Andatech’s dedication to providing cutting-edge, reliable, and accurate alcohol breath-testing solutions.

NATA Accreditation
NATA accreditation for Andatech’s Melbourne calibration centre
Andatech’s Melbourne calibration centre has received the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accreditation in breathalyser calibration. To date, only 11 calibration centres throughout Australia carry this accreditation and more than half of them are owned by governmental organisations.
To obtain this NATA accreditation, Andatech’s Melbourne calibration centre was assessed based on the ISO/IEC 17025 standard that ensures traceability, comparability and validity of breathalyser calibration outcomes.

Ionmax became a Sensitive Choice Partner
Ionmax is proud to become a Sensitive Choice partner, a program run by the National Asthma Council Australia that recognises products beneficial for those with asthma and allergies. The Sensitive Choice program helps consumers identify products that are designed to improve indoor air quality and support better breathing environments. This partnership underscores Ionmax’s commitment to providing air purifiers and dehumidifiers that meet the high standards set by Sensitive Choice, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with asthma and allergies.

Winner in the Specialised Small Business category
Andatech from Vermont has been named Champion Specialised Small Business at the Australian Small Business Champion Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony held on Saturday 21st April at The Star – Sydney, with over 1,100 guests in attendance.
The Australian Small Business Champion Awards is the only national recognition program for Australian small businesses.

Optus myBusiness Awards Customer Service Experience of the Year
Finalist in the Customer Service Experience of the Year category
Andatech, once again, is a finalist to win the Customer Service Experience recognition at the 2017 Optus My Business Awards. In 2016, Andatech vied for the title alongside other contenders and bagged the Customer Service Experience of the Year Award.
The Optus My Business Awards, which covers 28 categories, acknowledges best practice within a particular industry sector, as well as individual business leaders, excellence in customer service and achievements in innovation, corporate social responsibility and workplace culture.
“We are humbled and grateful to be nominated again. We strive hard to provide top notch customer service thus being a finalist for the second year acknowledges the dedication and hard work our clients have experienced,” shared Josephine Gan, Andatech’s CS Manager.

Whitehorse Business Group Small Business Award
Winner in the Small Business Award category
The Andatech Team is humbled and honoured by this recognition. We are thankful to the Whitehorse Business Group for acknowledging the company’s effort in moving forward the importance of responsible driving, personal and workplace safety.
The Whitehorse Business Group Inc, is an independent business group established in 1996 to assist Whitehorse City Council in its business initiatives. In 2001, WBG Inc. established the Whitehorse Business Awards and became the premier business awards recognition program in Whitehorse.
“As business people, we have an opportunity to make a positive difference to our community no matter our age or our size. Andatech only started in 2004…but already, by giving people a reason to trust us, by supporting our team, by creating the best company we can, and by helping the community with information, advice and support, we can be proud of our achievements,” Andatech Director Irwandy Tan shared.

Optus MyBusiness Awards
Winner in the Customer Service Experience of the Year Award
The Optus My Business Awards is the longest-standing business awards program in Australia, and identifies and acknowledges the achievements of Australia’s best business operators.
Andatech was a finalist in three categories in the Optus My Business Awards.
The Optus My Business Award winners were revealed at a gala dinner event on 18 November in Sydney and Andatech was announced as the winner in the Customer Service Experience of the Year Award.

Winner in the Business Excellence and Business Technology categories
Andatech has been recognised as an ABA100 winner in The Australian Business Awards for Business Technology and Business Excellence in 2016.
The awards recognise Andatech’s achievements in promoting excellence through innovative initiatives that have transformed business practices.
Irwandy Tan, director of Andatech says that the company is very humbled to be awarded in the two categories. “These awards will definitely give us more exposure in the industry and emphasise our dedication to our products and services.”
Andatech’s entries for the Australian Business Awards highlighted the company’s significant achievements of its internally built management system – the Andatech HUB – and how it served as the business’s core factor in productivity and quality services.
Mr. Tan says winning the ABA awards in Business Excellence and Business Technology affirm the company’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
“Winning two categories is a great achievement by Andatech and a testament to our diligence and consistency in the past 13 years. These awards will be our motivation and encouragement to continue to grow.”

The Whitehorse Business Awards were established by the Whitehorse Business Group in 2001 and is the premier business awards recognition program in the Whitehorse region of Victoria.
This year, Andatech was awarded as a finalist in the Small Business Category.
2014
Whitehorse Business Awards - Small Business Excellence
Highly Commended in the Small Business Excellence Category
Acknowledging the importance of ridding Australia’s roads of drunk drivers and workplaces of drug-affected employees, Andatech was nominated for the 2014 Whitehorse Small Business Award as part of the Whitehorse Excellence in Business Awards.
This nomination highlights the significance of Andatech within the wider community. While based in Vermont, Andatech manufacture innovative products to fill the large gap in the health and safety markets world-wide.
Since its beginning in 2003, Andatech has quickly emerged as a leading distributor of breathalysers in Australia, a result of its enduring emphasis on quality and performance.
In 2004, Andatech proudly became the first Australian company to receive the Australian Standard AS3547 certification for a personal breathalyser under $200. Since then, Andatech has strived to make a difference in the safety of its customers by expanding its product line to include highly accurate fuel cell breathalysers for industrial use.
With a focus on providing products that have a measurable impact on the consumer, Andatech invest heavily in research, development and quality assurance procedures before we import or manufacture a product.
For efforts in both business and community, Andatech was presented with a Highly Commended certificate in their division.
This was a major feat for the company as the Whitehorse Business Excellence Awards have grown substantially over the past few years, with high-ranking figures from the world of business in the City of Whitehorse – as well as both State and Federal politicians – continue to attend and raise the profile of business in the area.
2010
Whitehorse Business Awards - Business Achievement & Recognition
Winner of the Business Achievement and Recognition Category
Andatech was awarded the 2010 Business Achievement and Recognition Award by the Whitehorse Business Group for its sound ethics in business, superior customer service, and business integrity during the 2009/2010 financial year.
The award was presented at a gala dinner on 20 August held at the Box Hill Town Hall, and attracted nominations from such companies as Emerge Solutions Pty Ltd, 89.9 Light FM and Headland.
Andatech was both humbled and delighted to receive this award which encourages its endeavours in maintaining strong work ethics and passion in the technologies industry.
In accepting the Award, Andatech thanked the Whitehorse Business Group and the other nominees in this category for working hard to make Whitehorse a great place to do business, for acknowledging our efforts and for hosting the awards night.

Andatech, which translates from the Indonesian “Anda” into “your technology” focuses on finding, testing and marketing technologies that are “Innovations for Life”. These include many health and safety products including breathalysers. Its flagship model breath testers have Australian Standard certification, and in 2008 Andatech achieved company accreditation to ISO 9001 standard.
